Luca Dall’Amico, born in Vicenza (Italy) is one of the most promising Italian basses of the younger generation. In 2009 he was chosen by Riccardo Muti for the role of Agamennon in IPHIGÉNIE EN AULIDE at the Teatro dell’Opera in Rome. Shortly after he made his debut at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, in Pizzetti’s ASSASSINIO NELLA CATTEDRALE.
From 2009 onwards, Luca Dall’Amico enjoys a regular collaboration with Riccardo Muti under whose baton he sang MACBETH, NABUCCO, I DUE FOSCARI, SIMON BOCCANEGRA, ATTILA, the prestigious concerts “Le Vie dell’Amicizia” 2011 and 2013 in Ravenna, Mirandola, Nairobi, “Concerto al Quirinale 2015”, also broadcasted on the Italian TV channel RAI1. In 2012 he sang the role of ATTILA in a concert at the University “La Sapienza” in Roma with Riccardo Muti at the piano.
Luca’s repertory has grown to a vast range of characters principaly marked by the roles of Don Giovanni in DON GIOVANNI, Don Alfonso in COSÌ FAN TUTTE, Figaro and Conte in LE NOZZE DI FIGARO, Publio in LA CLEMENZA DI TITO, Selim in IL TURCO IN ITALIA, Mustafa in L’ITALIANA IN ALGERI, Alidoro in LA CENERENTOLA, Oroveso in NORMA, Rodolfo in LA SONNAMBULA, Raimondo in LUCIA DI LAMMERMOOR, Frère Laurent in ROMÉO ET JULIETTE, Timur in TURANDOT, Colline in LA BOHÈME, Attila in ATTILA, Pagano in I LOMBARDI ALLA PRIMA CROCIATA, Ramfis and Re in AIDA, Procida in I VESPRI SICILIANI, Ferrando in IL TROVATORE, Zaccaria in NABUCCO, Sparafucile in RIGOLETTO, Fiesco in SIMON BOCCANEGRA, Banco in MACBETH.

On the international stage, Luca has so far enjoyed artistic collaboration with Madrid Teatro Real, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Salzburg Festival, Paris Theatre Champs Elysée, Seoul Art Center, Tokyo Bunka Kaikan Theater, Muscat Royal Opera House, Opernfestspiele St. Margarethen, Wexford Opera Festival, Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, Graz Opernhaus, Lisboa Teatro Nacional de São Carlos, Vilnius The Lithuanian National Opera, Skopje Macedonian Opera, Philharmonie Köln, Liège Opéra Royal de Wallonie, Wildbad Rossini Opera Festival, Luxemburg Théâtres de la Ville.
So far, Luca Dall’Amico has collaborated with prestigious conductors and stage directors such as Riccardo Muti, James Conlon, Myung Whun Chung, Christoph Eschenbach, Gianluigi Gelmetti, Daniele Callegari, Daniel Oren, Speranza Scappucci, Paolo Arrivabeni, Stefano Ranzani, Gianluca Martinenghi, Pier Luigi Pizzi, Cristina Mazzavillani, Massimo Gasparon, Franco Zeffirelli, Marco Gandini, Josè Cura, Francesco Micheli, Henning Bockhaus, Micha Van Hoecke, Damiano Michieletto and Lorenzo Regazzo.
Current and upcoming engagements will see him performing in Wildbad Festival Rossini (MOISE et PHARAON), Nagoya Japan Opera Festival (TOSCA), Firenze Opera (LA CENERENTOLA), Liège Opéra Royal de Wallonie (AIDA), Santa Barbara Symphony (VERDI REQUIEM), Catania Teatro Bellini (LA CENERENTOLA).
Graduated with honors in Trombone, Organ and Composition at the music conservatory of his hometown and Genéve under Lionel Rogg, he studied voice under Sherman Lowe, Stefano Gibellato, Roberto Scandiuzzi.
